Rare Japanese IJN / Naval landing forces type 90 helmet. The Kanji letter stamped on the rear of the helmet skirt indicates a size large. An “S” inside a lozenge is stamped next to it, which stands for the Kobe Seiko Company.

It is missing the front anchor insignia, the chinstrap and the liner drawstring. The leather liner is the correct type and is still strong.

The shape of the front anchor is still visible on the paint.

It shows a white painted unit marking inside the dome.

The shell has an old crack on the left side.

Rare casque des troupes de débarquement / IJN Japonaise type 90. La lettre Kanji marquée à l’arrière du casque indique une taille large. Un « S » inclus dans un losange se trouve à coté, et indique le fabricant « Kobe Seiko ».

Il manque l’insigne frontal, la jugulaire et la corde de serrage de la coiffe. La coiffe en cuir est présente et robuste. La forme de l’ancre frontale est encore visible sur la peinture.

Il y a un numéro marqué à la peinture blanche sur le fond du dôme.

La coque montre une ancienne fêlure sur le coté gauche.
