M1 Garand bayonet w/ camouflaged scabbard

Interesting M1 Garand bayonet with one of a kind, hand painted camouflage on the scabbard front. The camouflage has green, black, brown, and white shades with a few touches of yellow.

The blade maker is UC, standing for Utica Cutlery.

Marked UC - Flaming Bomb - US on the ricasso. The opposite side shows a faded US Ordnance Corps “crossed cannon” stamp.

The right handle plate is broken but still holds in place. It is also missing one of the pin holding the guard.

The scabbard has the usual US flaming bomb stamps on the metal part.

It would make a great addition to any USMC / Normandy display with camouflage uniforms.

Found as is.

Intéressante baïonnette pour fusil Garand M1 avec camouflage fait à la main et unique sur la partie avant du fourreau. Le camouflage est composé de vert, noir, marron, blanc et quelques touches de jaune.

La lame est marquée UC, identifiant Utica Cutlery.

Le ricasso est marqué UC- Bombe enflammée - US. Le coté opposé montre le marquage estompé des « cannons croisés » de l’US Ordnance Corps.

La plaquette de poignée droite est cassée mais est toujours maintenue en position. Un pin de maintien de la garde est également manquant.

Le fourreau dispose de la bombe enflammée US habituelle sur la partie métallique.

Cette baïonnette serait une très bonne addition à un uniforme camouflé type USMC ou Normandie.

Condition :

La baïonette est en état moyen. Le fourreau est en bon état.
