Scarce Japanese IJN / Naval landing forces type 90 helmet.

The Kanji letter painted on the rear of the helmet skirt indicates a size large. It is missing the front anchor insignia. The original chinstrap is still attached to the shell. The leather liner is attached by one rivet, which appears original to the helmet.

The shell has a bullet / shrapnel hole on the back of it. The liner has not been affected by it. It is unclear if the liner was replaced later or if the bullet went through the helmet without damaging the liner.

Rare casque des troupes de débarquement / IJN Japonaise type 90.

La lettre Kanji marquée à l’arrière du casque indique une taille large. Il manque l’insigne frontal. La jugulaire originale est attachée à la coque de asque lourd. La coiffe en cuir est attachée par un seul rivet, qui semble avoir la même patine que le casque.

La coque montre un impact de balle / éclat d'obus sur sa partie arrière. Celui-ci n'a pas endommagé la coiffe en cuir. Il est incertain à savoir si la coiffe à été remplacée ou si l'éclat / balle est passé au travers de la coque sans endommagé la coiffe.
