US Army service shoes type III.

Nice brown color rough out leather with original brown cotton laces. Both shoes have black ink markings inside that reads "Bedford Shoe Company 10 1/2A 1009, Boston Depot, May 26 1943 QM W155 QM160XX". The markings on he right shoe are a lot hard to read than the left shoe.

They have mismatched inspector markings ( 10 1/2 A GX and 10 1/2 A H). Black composite plastic heel marked "Light Tread" and full composite soles marked "Goodyear".

An old collection inventory reference number is taped on each heel (794 and 795)
