US Army enlisted men brown “mustard” wool flannel shirt. All buttons are present. A size tag is sewn in the collar with unusual orange thread lettering.

This shirt is labeled “Special”, in reference to the cuff and chest anti-gas flap, and the two buttons on the back, under the collar.

A nice QM tag is attached to the shirt and indicates:

Chemise d’homme de troupe en laine de flanelle brune “Moutarde”. Tous les boutons sont présents. Une étiquette de taille avec un lettrage inhabituel en fil orange.

Cette chemise est désignée « Special », en référence aux rabats anti-gaz présent sur l’avant et les manches, et aux deux boutons présents à l’arrière du col.

Une très belle étiquette de fabricant est attachée à la chemise et indique :
