3rd pattern US Marine Corps canteen cover w/ original stainless steel canteen.
Typical OD cotton construction with cross flaps closed by lift-the-dot snaps and drain hole at the bottom. The canteen was manufactured by 'G.P & F. Co'. in 1944 and still retains its original black plastic cup and cork insert. No cup included.
