Pair of enlisted men OD wool puttees / leg wraps.

They are a matching pair. Both leggings have an unusual set of identification tags sewn on it. They are identified to Earl F. Van Hyfte, ASN R5602726 from 2114 4th Ave. Bay City, Michigan. One of the tag indicates the following unit: 2nd A.A. Bn which stands for "2nd Anti-Aircraft Bn".
This battalion was part of the AEF in France and took part in the battle of Moselle and St Mihiel.

This pair of leggings have blood stains (Was this man WIA?). He passed away in 1932 and is buried in Bay City, MI.

Paire de bandes molletières en laine verte d’homme de troupe.

Il s’agit d’une paire assortie. Les deux bandes molletières disposent d'un jeu de discs d'identification peu habituel. Elles sont identifiées au soldat Earl F. Van Hyfte, matricule R5602726 de 2114 4th Ave. Bay City, Michigan. L'un des discs indique l'unité "2nd A.A. Bn", pour "2nd Anti-Aircraft Bn" (2eme bataillon d'artillerie anti-aérienne).
Ce bataillon faisait parti de l'AEF en France et à pris part aux combat en Moselle et à St Mihiel.
