M1910 canvas leggings. Solid green canvas construction.

Both leggings are stamped with the manufacturer’s information that is now hard to make out. It seems to indicate “Ideal canvas puttees”, the remaining marking is illegible. Both were controlled and stamped at the New York Depot by inspector “F.S. Bogert,”

One of the legging retains its original tag indicating:

Guêtres en toile du modèle 1910. Construction en toile verte épaisse.

Les deux guêtres sont tamponnées du nom du fabricant, maintenant illisible.Ce marquage semble indiquer «Ideal canvas puttees», le reste du marquage est illisible.

Les deux guêtres ont été tamponnées au Dépôt de New York et inspectées par « F.S. Bogert »

L’une des guêtres dispose de son étiquette originale indiquant :
