Nice pairs of OD wool puttees / leg wraps. They are a matching pair.

These woolen puttees were issued to all British / Australian (AIF) and Canadian service men during WWI.

They each have a little brass disc indicating “L” for left and “R” for right. They were manufactured by Fox Wellington, and both have a black tag with gold lettering indicating: “Fox Wellington Somerset. F.I.P. Patent 14214-1909”

Paire de bandes molletières en laine verte. Il s’agit d’une vraie paire.

Ce type de bandes molletières ont été distribuées à toutes les troupes Anglaises, Canadiennes et Australiennes durant la 1ère Guerre Mondiale.

Elles disposent d’un petit insigne indiquant « L » pour Left (Gauche) et « R » pour Right (Droite). Elles ont été fabriquées par Fox Wellington et disposent d’une étiquette noir et or indiquant : « Fox Wellington Somerset. F.I.P. Patent 14214-1909 »
