Early Vietnam War era US Navy leather flight jacket type G-1.

Dark brown leather construction with fur collar, wool knit cuffs and waist band. Nice manufacuter's tag in the collar. Heavy duty Conmar zipper in perfect working condition.

This jacket was manufactured by Ralph Edwards Sportswear Inc. under specification MIL-J-7823C and 1964-dated contract.

Nice and original, Japanese-made? Fighting 31 squadron patch sewn on the front of the jacket. The design includes "Felix the cat" holding a lit bomb.

The khaki cap came from the same officer and is included in the sale.

Good condition. The leather is a little stiff. Some used sports on the upper back. One small tear on the right arm wool knit cuff.

Veste de vol en cuir de type G-1 datant du début de la guerre du Vietnam.

Construction en cuir brun foncé, avec col en fourrure, manchettes et bande de taille en laine brune tricotées. Belle étiquette de fabricant cousue dans le col. Fermeture a coulisse de marque "Conmar" en parfait état de fonctionnement.

Cette veste a été fabriquée par Ralph Edwards Sportswear Inc. sous la spécification MIL-J-7823C avec un contrat daté de 1964.

Très beau patch de poitrine de la 31eme escadrille de combat de l'US Navy qui semble être de fabrication Japonaise. Le motif inclut le chat "Felix" portant une bombe dont la mèche est allumée.

Le calot beige proviens du même officier et est inclus dans la vente.

Condition :
Bonne condition. Le cuir est un peu rigide. Quelques zones usées, notamment sur la partie haute du dos. Une petite déchirure sur la manchette en laine tricotée de la manche droite.
