Nice Jet pilot knife with its leather sheath and sharpening stone.

The knife is a nice quality Japanese manufacture marked "US" and "Japan". These knives were available in the PX and were widely used on the battlefield during the Vietnam war.

The sheath is stamped on the back :

Knife, Hunting, Sheated, (illegilble) Camillus Cuttlery Co DSA 400 67-C-4909122501 March 1967.

Both the knife and the sheath came together.

Dimensions :

Blade length: 5in - Overall knife length: 9 1/2in

Condition :

The sheath has hardly been used. It has some dark brown stains on the front.

The knife was sharpened but is still in nice condition.

Couteau de pilote de chasse avec son fourreau en cuir et sa pierre d'affutage.

Le couteau est de fabrication Japonnaise de qualité et est marqué "US" et "Japan". Ces couteaux étaient vendus dans les foyers et furent vastement utilisés sur le champ de bataille pendant la guerre du Vietnam.

Le fourreau est marqué au dos:

Knife, Hunting, Sheated, (illisible) Camillus Cuttlery Co DSA 400 67-C-4909122501 March 1967.

Le couteau et le fourreau ont été trouvé ensemble.

Dimensions :

Longueur de la lame: 12.7cm - Longueur totale du couteau : 24.2cm

Condition :

Le fourreau n'a jamais été porté. Il montre quelques tâches brunes sur sa partie avant.

Le couteau a été affuté mais reste en bonne condition.
